The Radiowaves Primary Podcasting project is aimed at introducing students to audio recording and producing short features for schools internet radio. The aims are:
- To develop skills of
communication (Speaking and Listening, Writing - Planning and drafting a
script, Presentation)
- To facilitate group cooperation
and team work.
- To develop ICT skills in a
variety of ways including use of mp3 player for recording, Microsoft word
to develop scripts, the Internet for research, editing software (Audacity)
and Radiowaves website.
All work produced by the students is featured on our Internet radio station at www.radiowaves.co.uk .
