The City Learning Centre has been working with partner schools to create digital audio such as jingles, interviews, news reports and music. We have used a selection of tools such as MP3 recorders, Audacity on the PC and Garageband on Macs. Both students and teachers have really enjoyed it and have learnt a great deal.

Here are some examples of the finished podcasts:

News report for BBC School Report day. This was recorded using MP3 recorders and edited in Audacity (free software for the PC). This was the culmination of a number of weeks work learning all about news and how to plan, write and edit a professional news report.
